My wife loved the gown.
Buying over the internet is like the old catalog days except faster. So, when I ordered the Brushed Gown at the phenominal price I was very leery of what whould show up.
When the gown arrived I opened the package and gave the gown to my wife to examine. It was exactly what she wanted and she said it was very well made. In fact, she said it was just like one she had purchased at Marshal-Field in Chicago. Now I have to order two or three more as that is all she wears around the house and to bed.

Problem with purchased nightgown
I'm sorry to state that the nightgown had to be returned- the inside of the eyelet yoke portion of the gown was so rough and scratchy, that I had to take it off both times I attempted wearing it- before & after laundrying the gown. I'd never experienced this before, but both it, and the lace were so scratchy that my skin became red & raw. The gown was nice and soft, & certainly looked attractive, but the price wouldn't allow it to just hang in the closet never worn again.

Thin, scratchy nightgown
This nightgown is very thin. Doesn't keep you warm if it's chilly. Not really for winter. Also, the inside seams were scratchy until I washed it a few times. Fine if you live in a warm place. Over priced at $29.00
